Ocuhalo
Safeguard Corneal Grafts. Improve Outcomes.
The Ocuhalo corneal graft halo retainer ring is an approved medical device that is used to secure a corneal graft (a transplanted piece of cornea) in place during the healing process. The halo retainer ring encircles the graft and is held in place by sutures. The ring serves to keep the graft stable and prevent it from moving out of position.
Our corneal graft halo retainer ring is made from lightweight, biocompatible inert titanium. It encircles and secures the corneal graft with sutures, providing stability during healing. The ring maintains tension around the graft, preventing it from shifting and protecting it from trauma. Once healing is complete, the ring and sutures are removed, allowing the eye to return to normal. The duration of use varies based on the transplant type and healing process.
